The mill
Five acres in Chandrapur. Sixteen tonnes an hour.
Paddy arrives from Vidarbha and the north and leaves as Sortex-cleaned, naturally aged Kolam, sealed in packs from 1 kg to 50 kg. Fifty-seven people work across four units in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Gujarat — and, in the company’s own words, we make sure that we upgrade our unit on timely basis.
